 You never know who is watching, a few Sundays ago I wore my APA eight ball tee shirt, while all the players were there for doubled jeopardy. I was the only person wearing a APA tee shirt and it paid off, Daniel was in the house and noticed I had on my shirt and told me since I was the only one wearing one I would receive something for wearing it. Well I figured I would get another shirt which was OK with me, but boy was I surprised when I receive a bag full of goodies! Autographed clamp on cue holder, APA towel, and tee shirt plus other items. So it pays to represent Triad APA! Thanks Triad APA! Greg McFarland I HAD AN AWESOME TIME THIS WEEKEND AT THE CASH AND CARRY. You all did a great job and I want to give you a big THANK YOU! You are the best! John Martin While at the Cash and Carry this past weekend I learned a few things about the APA. Daniel and I actually had a good talk...."YES I said DANIEL and I" LOL But we were discussing how the APA is about more than just pool. I was telling him how Dave LoPresti was helping me with work and school, how I didn't know him till the APA found a 4 for my team. Then as the weekend progressed I learned it's about making new friends and Having a really good time doing something we all LOVE. I have met a lot of people in this league and well to be honest SOME like me and OTHERS don't, but it's kind of like one of my teammates from this team in Cash and Carry said, "you have to get to know me first" this goes for everyone. I have made a lot of friends playing pool, some I wouldn't give anything for. This weekend just showed me, you don't have to play with people you already know to have a good time and be competative..you just have to have the same interest and have good spirits. I am so glad we all played together, not just because we won but MAINLY because I now have 5 more friends that are real and Love the Same GAME I do. The APA is more than just pool and this proves it. Thanks Daniel for running a Great tournament all weekend and Thanks to every body that showed up and played. The Teams that we played were VERY tough....and it was a PLEASURE to play Robert Kinney's team in the Finals, who might I add are the reigning 8ball Cash and Carry champs. That match was hard fought and could have went either way. I enjoyed the whole tourny......THANKS AGAIN to everyone who participated. |
