| If you downloaded this before 3:30 PM Wed Jan 27th, you have the wrong copy. I made a mistake but corrected it now. Match 9003 - 9 Ball - Pocket 9's should be in the place of Rolling Slow. Rolling Slow is already Qualified for Finals. |

I think the tournament itself was ran great and on a timely manner. Daniel and Becca did a great job, as well as all the officials! I do however have a complaint and maybe I am not as irrate as other's were but it still was a problem!
I understand the max copacity deal and I am fine with it being followed and enforced. But maybe we need to look at this as an issue. Saturday night there were atleast 40-50 people stuck outside because they said they were over capacity. I was one of the several outside. There were some harsh thinds said out there and I fully relate to all that was said. Maybe we can do some things to fix this problem!
1) Ask Shooters or any venue that prelims will be held at to close the doors to the public. Now I know this is asking alot, but they will get their buisness if they really think about it.
2) Have less teams playing at once. Maybe break up the weekend to two different weekends for 8 and 9 ball???? That would lead to more money for the venue anyway!
3) Ask teams to only bring their team and not the whole family and friends. I know personally I would like people there watching, but when you know that there are issues with how many people can be there, just ask them to stay home.
Another issue I had is the walking around tables. It happens all the time and most were very cautious and watched when they walked to not get in the way of a table. But there were a few that I witnessed ALL weekend walk by tables and really just not giving a crap to watch if somebody was shooting and if they would be in the way! All I ask is that people be courteous when you HAVE to walk by a table to get out. Its really not that hard to pay attention!!! I have mentioned this before, but maybe the playing area can be roped off and have walkin lanes, then maybe people will respect the matches going on!
On a side note, I want to thank David and Angel for handling a situation for my team and the team we were playing. I can be pretty level headed and understanding, but I was at my boiling point and Angel knew that and stepped in before I did something I really didn't want to do! Thanks again Angel!
Overall, I had a great weekend and appreciate Shooters for holding the event and for Daniel and his staff for running a great tournament!

That can **** off some customers, who may not return, a possibility.

Sounds like a good option to me.

Yes, they can watch their favorite team on ESPN-25

I want to thank Shooters for hosting this event. Terry, Danielle and the shooters staff were excellent.
Its the clicker I didnt like!!! It seems that it was malfunctioning Sat night.
We took a head count by having everyone stand still and physcally counting them 2 times. Everything was OK an we let all of the people in from outside.
As for scheduling matches, I knew that I had scheduled 192 people, but we were having 2 no shows.
So we can work on some of the problems we had, but overall it was the smoothest prelims we have had in a while.
Thanks for all the teams that were understanding of the fire marshall occupancy limit and the way we fixed it. |

Daniel, I know you guys did a great job at fixing the problem! And like I said, I didn't like standing outside, but maybe we could get a plan in place for the next ones.
What did you think of my idea's? Anything we can consider? |
