We have a team in our area that tell their players to lay down so they want go up a skill level. Was wondering if anyone else has this problem. This happens every session and it's getting old.

Happens way to much, And not much you can do about it.. Just send the office a note with your paperwork. If they start having more people complain about a certin person or team they will do something. Some might tell you to pencil wip them by marking D's. However, I think that just starts trouble with the team you see weekly.

Also, I try to tell people who are MAD about cheaters to sleep on it a day before sending a half cocked nasty letter to the office.

and, I've seen people bragging about how they have such good low rank players and the same people crib about some other team having a good playing low rank ... go figure...

Lot of people (may) think that I'm a sand bagger
But, I miss easy shots that nobody can miss

like this one:

I have even missed ball in hand shots in many important tournament games! why am I telling all this? I don't have a clue.

Defining and Recognizing a sand bagger can be tricky at times.
My advice to everyone is count till 1000000 before you seriously call someone a "sand bagger"

Happy Holidays...

I just do not GET sand bagging, part of the fun for me is trying to whip your butt. If I still thought I could whip your butt by playing longer, or by playing worse than usual - How is that fun??

I know a couple of teams that were, in my opinion only, were sand bagging last session, they are definitely not in the top 3 this session and some are very far from it. So did CHEATging catch up w/ them, or is the whole team laying down waiting for spring session?????

So what do you do about it - You either give Daniel a call the next day, or you write him a note about it that night and put it in w/ the scoresheet, AND you mark a defense shot down every time, in your judgement, the player intentionally missed a shot. I know that this can cause problems when the other team starts seeing you mark defense shots, so write them on a separate piece of paper w/ the note about why you think the player is CHEATging - include how the persons stance was, how the player switched from playing slow to fast when missing, how the player had banked balls, etc...... dont just write the player ran out - Everybody can have a good night.

Sand bagging is no fun for anyone, and doesnt work if everyone would keep accurate scorekeeping.

Waiting til the next day to complain about it - I understand, so you have time to calm down about it and really think before you call Daniel, but it also makes time to not say anything about it at all. I have heard from too many people complaining about another team and they said nothing until 3 weeks later so....dont calm down too much

CHEATging is great!it gives everyone another excuse for not being able to win.it's just like every other game in the world, your always looking for that little something extra to make you a winner!!
