| CHANGES FOR SUMMER 2009 | 05/21/2009 6:57:23 PM |
This session will be 14 weeks long with a 4-week roster change period and an additional 2 weeks of playoffs. There are several changes that I would like to bring to your attention:
• If you agree to play a makeup game or an entire match, it must be played and turned in within 3 weeks of the original play date (or by the last day of play for the regular session, whichever is earliest). We will not process matches that were scheduled to be played 4 or more weeks ago. This will not apply to teams that play on Sundays - there are way too many events scheduled for the summer on Sundays. For example: If your team agrees to make up a match for week 5, you have until your team’s regularly scheduled day of play for week 8 to turn in the completed week 5 match. The week 5 match is due by your week 8 day of play regardless of whether or not you actually play a match on week 8.
• Only turn in scoresheets and money once the match is complete. If you have individual make up games, do not turn them in, hold them until everything is made up. We will no longer key individual make up matches… they must be on the scoresheet with all the other matches.
• Players that have not paid their annual dues and whose names are printed on the scoresheet must pay if they play that night or the entire team will receive 0 points. If a player is written in (not printed by the office), they will be allowed to play without paying their dues until they are printed on the scoresheet. Example: Week 1 you write in Joe Public. He does not have to pay week 1 even if he plays. Week 2 his name is computer printed on the scoresheet. He cannot play on week 2 or later without paying his annual dues or the entire team receives 0 points every time he plays without paying.
